Statement of Faith

Embassy Life International Ministries recognizes that it cannot, and does not desire to, bind the conscience of individuals in areas where Scripture is silent. Instead, each believer is to be led in those areas by God, to whom they alone are ultimately responsible. The Statement of Beliefs is an accurate summary of what Scripture teaches.

  1. WE BELIEVE that there is one God, creator of all things; He is infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three manifestations known as the “Trinity”: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ/ Yeshua Hamashiach), and God the Holy Spirit (Isaiah 43:10-11; Genesis 1:1; Ephesians 4:5-6).

  2. WE BELIEVE that Yeshua Hamashiach is the eternal Son of God. The Word of God (Bible) declares His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, death, resurrection, and ascension to the right hand of God the Father (Hebrews 1:3; Revelation 1:8).

  3. WE BELIEVE that man was created in the image of God but, as a result of sin, is lost, powerless to save himself, spiritually dead, and separated from God (Genesis 1:26-27, 2:17, 3:6; Romans 5:12-19).

  4. WE BELIEVE that the only hope for man is to believe in Yeshua Hamashiach by faith through grace; that Jesus was born of a virgin, the Son of God who died to take upon Himself the punishment and penalty of sin for humanity, rose from the dead so that by receiving Him as Savior and Lord, man is redeemed by His shed blood and his relationship with Yeshua is demonstrated through the action of repentance (John 3:3; Ephesians 2:8).

  5. WE BELIEVE in sanctification, the act of separating from evil and dedicating oneself to God, which is good, upright, and morally pure (Leviticus 20:7; Romans 12:1-2; 1 Peter 3:15).

  6. WE BELIEVE that water baptism by the immersion in water, after accepting Yeshua as Savior, is a public declaration and testimony to the death of sin in one’s life and the resurrection to a new life in Christ (Acts 2:38; 2 Corinthians 5:17).

  7. WE BELIEVE that the Holy Spirit indwells those who receive Yeshua to enable them to live a righteous and holy life (Romans 8:11).

  8. WE BELIEVE the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify Yeshua Hamashiach, to convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer (John 14:15-17).

  9. WE BELIEVE in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit given at Pentecost, which is the promise of the Father and available to all believers; Jesus sent the Holy Spirit after His ascension to empower the Body of Christ to preach the Gospel message worldwide; that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is accompanied by speaking in other [unknown] tongues (Acts 1:4-8; 2:1-4).

  10. WE BELIEVE in the ministry of deliverance, whose purpose is to guide people into the victory that Yeshua died to give them and set them free from spiritual vices and demonic oppression to bring about victory and freedom (Matthew 10:8; Luke 4:18).

  11. WE BELIEVE in divine healing, the miraculous intervention to heal one from serious or even fatal conditions physically, mentally, and emotionally; divine healing is God’s execution of His power and love towards His creation so that they will know that He is omnipotent (Mark 6:13; James 5:14-16).

  12. WE BELIEVE that the Holy Bible is the only divinely inspired, infallible written Word of God and is the only authoritative source of Kingdom doctrine and belief (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21).

  13. WE BELIEVE that the church is the Body of Christ, representative of Jesus on earth, and is composed of all those who, through their belief in Christ, have been spiritually regenerated by indwelling of the Holy Spirit (Romans 12:5; 1 Corinthians 12:27; 2 Corinthians 5:20).

  14. WE BELIEVE that the mission of the Kingdom (Apostolic) Church is worldwide evangelism and the nurturing and disciplining of Citizens of the Kingdom, new Ambassadors, and those desiring to be Kingdom Ambassadors (Matthew 28:16-20).

  15. WE BELIEVE marriage is between one man and one woman (male and female) in the biblical definition of marriage. ELIM nor its leadership will perform or allow any marriages to be conducted in/at their facilities between a couple that is not joining as a born “male” and born “female” together as one in Holy matrimony (Genesis 1:26-28).

  16. WE BELIEVE in the “Blessed Hope” and “Second Coming” of Yeshua, which includes the resurrection and rapture of all Citizens of the Kingdom where the “dead in Christ” rise first, those that are “alive and remain” are caught up to meet Him in the air, and that He will return to earth with His saints for a one-thousand-year reign (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17; Titus 2:13; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52).

  17. WE BELIEVE that there will be a bodily resurrection of all the dead in final judgment where all men/women will appear before the judgment seat of Christ receiving the things done in the body, whether good or bad; the true believer will have everlasting life with the Lord in heaven, and the unbeliever eternal conscious punishment in hell (Matthew 25:46; 2 Corinthians 5:10; Revelation 21-22).
